Ingredients

  • 50g green and blacks 85% cocoa
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Toppings of choice: nuts, seeds, dried fruit

 

Method

  • place a sheet of baking paper on a chopping board or flat plate 
  • melt the chocolate in a ceramic bowl over a pan of simmering water 
  • add the coconut oil and allow to melt 
  • stir the choc and coconut oil to blend 
  • remove the bowl from the heat and place into a bigger bowl with cold water in it. 
  • slowly stir the mixture until it begins to cool and thicken (but not too much so that it goes hard)
  • begin to spoon it onto the baking paper add about 2tbsp at time and add toppings before moving on to the next one leaving space between each chocolate blob, continue until all the mixture is used up
  • place in the fridge and leave to set for about an hour
